as kron 4's justine waldman is ready now for even more riders. expect full ferries like this one if there is another bart strike. ernest sanchez tells me the sf bay ferry service learned a few things during the last strike plans are now in place to be more round two. sot we looked at what happened and what the loads were and how the vessels were being utilized and we around to start the ferry service will put out 13 ferries. just like last time, it will use all 11 of its own boats and borrow 2 from golden gate ferry. during the first stike, only 1 gg ferry was used. the ferries carry between 150 and 700 people. also, the schedule will 5 am in vallejo and run the ferry service will have 56,000 seats available system wide. compare that to that an average commute day of 20,000. coversot in addition we will be using an additional dock, the gg facility and this will help reduce congestion. standup don't plan on parking here at jack london in the morning. and you can pay for your ticket with your clipper card. riders should expect lines. longer than no
