as we head down through waldorf and brandywine into the lower 70s. a couple of upper 60s as we head off to bull run, haymarket, warrenton and manassas you're at 73 degrees. showers and storms will once again start off to the west. they stayed off to the west yesterday. not the case today. they're going to scoot on over to the beltway and along 95 for your drive home. so by 4:00 to 6:00 we'll be tracking some of the thunderstorms along 270, 70, through 95. notice how they're concentrated around the district and off to the north and also southern maryland. areas south and west near manassas and culpeper, you can see a couple of showers but you might get shortchanged. but don't worry our chances for rain and thunderstorms are in the forecast for tomorrow and also friday. today we could see some of those storms get on the stronger side. in fact, we are under the slight risk category from the storm prediction center but this setup is always going to be possible each day. as we head through sunday, we'll have a cold front come on through. that could change
