, you know, using another example that folks brought up, if you're a non-profit, trying to do a walk-a-thon, one of your staff or your board members happens to be on the city commission, if you need to use a business for a water station, that is anything of value. that's prohibited. that's going to hurt the non-profit, the community service, bottom line, in terms of their financial and service progra programs. so i still believe that this is too broad, and no matter what language is going to put in, you're expecting people to be reasonable. and i feel if we were to put this on a ballot, we need to be really specific. and if there's not an opportunity to put a monetary value on that, my proposal is to delete the whole section because there's already language to really address the potential conflicts of interest without hurting inadvertently the folks that are really in need of a publi public-private partnership that we'll need to rely on for the next few years. so i would like to make a proposal to amend this by deleting section a. was it section a? it addressed the meaning of value, that wh
