this was just at waller road near forestville yesterday and crews say it's the most common call they during this weather. and of course drivers think they can make it through and then suddenly they get stuck. and i can't even imagine being the person inside that car thinking oh my gosh, i thought i could do it. and i couldn't. so i mean, during storms like this, we know to turn around or to stay still or maybe just wait it out of course too. we know we have places to go. we know we have places we need to be. but take a look at this. areas like san francisco yesterday, ended up getting over an inch and a half of rain within a 24 hour period. that was the time that we were not supposed to be out there out on the roads especially during a flash flood warning. and we saw that in different communities throughout the bay area yesterday. as that major storm swept through. anywhere from that 1:00 to 2:00 hour. up near astros stow we got an inch of rain from the same system but it's interesting because near petaluma a quarter inch of rain. the storm started breaking apart as it moves inland.
