walter reuther from the uaw, he represents the rent that one.ere is eventually a compromise for daisy bates would like to speak for the women. she was given a short little speech to read and a group of eight women were asked to stand up and bow and accept a pause. i believe that played a role in a major women's rights movement because there was this really strong pop a blood notion, hold on a second. how is it different for blacks to be claiming their rights, which they deserve? how is that different from women claiming their right? it became pretty clear pretty quickly to the smartest people in activist politics that it wasn't right. and there was another incident that happened, which i think of a major impact. it's never been covered by anybody is only speculation on my part. but i believe the march on washington was a major influence in creating the free speech movement, which began that next year at the university of california at berkeley. one of the main leaders of the free speech movement was involved in the sole rights movement. i still
