how is walter scott's family reacting to the fact that this is moving forward with the indictment? >> they're thankful for this indictment thomas. it didn't take long for the grand jury to come back with that indictment on a murder charge for former north charleston program man slager. slager will face a jury trial. he's charged in the april 4th shooting death of 50-year-old walter scott. a moment people all over the country saw go down because of that cellphone video that surfaced that you just showed as well. it was that video that led to slager's arrest and ultimate murder charge. slager shot scott a total of eight times as he ran away. this all happened shortly after a traffic stop because the case is still high profile some people were concerned that slager would not get a fair trial. news conference today felt he has faith in the people of charleston. we also heard from the family and the attorney of scott as well scott family attorney who says this is just an example that if you keep faith even in the darkest times you will see the light. >> we're hearing from slager's attorney savage reading a statement, quote, we were
