thanks for joining me i'm janelle wang.re going to begin tonight with breaking news in the east bay. a deadly shooting at a dublin apartment complex. nbc bay area sky ranger overhead. sources tell us police got a call around 215 this afternoon of shots fired at the emerald park apartments on hacienda drive. that's just down the street from emerald glen park. you can see dozens of officers on scene. they found a man dead. police say after being shot in the head. they are calling this a homicide. you can see they're going to apartment to apartment. they have not identified a suspect yet, but say they are actively searching for one. they add there is no threat to public safety at this time. again, a man shot to death in dublin at this apartment complex. we will update this story online and if any new information comes into the newsroom, we will bring it to you. also, in the east bay, oakland's police chief is calling on the public this evening to help bring peace to the city. following a particularly violent week in oakland in
