i asked the warden what happens to the mountain lion when they find it, he said depending on how the animal acts they will trap it and relocate it or take other measures which he would specify he went to say. all the trails in this area are clearly makred that this is mountain territory and to keep kids close to adults when they are on the trail. i asked a number of local hikers who were turned away upon seeing the trail closed if they had ever seen a mountain lion here.
