trains are still running and shuttle buses are filling in the service gaps from warminster to glenside and chad pradelli is live now with the story. >> reporter: certainly headaches and delays for regional rail riders between glenside and warminster. there are the buses they brought in to shuttling drivers. here is what septa is telling me after 7:00 this morning, what is called a panthagraph it came down on the rail car and it lost heat and had some emergency lighting after shutting down the power septa got riders off the train and they made their way to center city and arrived at jefferson city this morning more than two hours late. >> a loud boom and then the train stopped. septa personnel told us it would be a while. they didn't tell us two hours but they did the best they could. >> my car was mostly calm we were wondering when we would get moving again but it was a more fun atmosphere than you would expect on a train. >> the malfunction is still under investigation, they expect the repairs to be done at 3:00, 4:00 this afternoon and that could create more delays during the evening

service has been fully restored here on the warminster line. these trains are back up and running just about on time. some of those 500 passengers trapped this morning making their way home tonight tell us they're still shaken up. chopper video of course shows the scene. after live wires came crashing down on to their train car. a little after 8:00 o'clock this morning. rescue crews had to cut power to those loins before rescue train was lined up with the disabled car. passengers were then walked on board that train to get them to safety. now, for 99 minutes as you mentioned they were without power and heat. as they waited to be rescued. one woman toll us she had to lock up news reports to find out exactly what was going on. septa now says the extreme cold that we have been seeing caused the cable to break. that led to wires coming down. >>> the cold spell that has gripped the area over the laugh you know works three weeks there's a direct affect of that cold weather because it pulled the wires so tight that it let go and then the wires swung o

there could still be delays between glenside and warminster. sabina kuriakose is live at the warminster station tonight with an update for us. sabina. >> reporter: take live look behind me one of the first trains to arrive here at the warminster station after all of this happened. this train is on time. again the trains just started running within the last hour. let's take look at some of that incredible sky fox video we captured for you this morning. septa now confirming that cold weather brought live wires down on a train headed into philly from the warminster station. 500 people on board were trapped for an hour and a half. as septa crews cut power to the wires then lined up a rescue train alongside the disabled car to get people off. it all happened just after 8:00 o'clock this morning at the height of the morning rush. septa tells us all of those passengers were in philly by 9:40 this morning. let's take a look at some video that we got for you just as this line began running again. initially they had buses running from the glenside statio
