elizabeth taylor was in it, warren beatty was in it.f course, was las vegas, and it was about gambling. and it inspired marty to tell me this story. when he was getting his ph.d. at mit -- it would have been in the early '60s and he had access to the great computer at mit. he thought maybe he would handicap the races at suffolk downs which was the closest thoroughbred track to boston. and then he went on and told me everything that he put in the computer. and this went on and on, all of the jockeys their records all of the horses their records, all of the trainers their records, all of the conditions of the track, all of the weight of the horses, and on and on he went telling me as a scholar all of the data he had put into the machine. and then he said i got so good that i could break even.
