kristin fisher spent the morning tracking traffic and accidents in the washington, d.c. area. as drivers dealt with one of the first snowfalls of the season. >> reporter: after last year's snowmageddon, it seems that maybe dc drivers learned how to drive in the snow after all. you can see that most of the main roadways are free of any back backups, the snowplows and salt trucks have been out in full force throughout the morning, but i tell you what, the problem spots for drivers are still on many of the side streets where you can see the snow still covers most of the roadway. another problem spot early this morning was on the capital beltway. on the outer loop at connecticut, a car spun out and slammed in to the guardrail. the driver appeared to be okay. the same can't be said for his car. on the inner loop, at colesville, a truck driver spotted another car that had spun out. so he slowed down, put on his has areas and got hit from behind. the driver was taken though hospital with minor injuries. as for the truck driver he's perfectly fine. he has 30 years of experience drivin
