(applause) >> i want to thank the ambassadors for being here. they're one of our newer programs. we hire people from the community to be eyes and ear in the areas where we feel unsafe, but where we may not need necessarily the attention of a police officer, but they work together. they actually train our ambassadors to become additional extensions with our community. but we won't forget that the community is the most important thing. if we build strong communities, then i believe very well that our whole community policing will work just as it does with so many of our other departments that rely on the community to get their projects or their work done. so, again, thank you for coming out this morning and i look forward to hearing your comments this morning. thank you. might i mean my i mean he took this to the washington post first and it's not like he this is the oh yeah i don't watch the eagles or that they're trying to slam him why should a republican who gave money to the ram ron paul campaign easy the. but the washington post said that of the powerpoint slides he gave us we only use like three or four of them because the stuff he gave us should remain secret and so we don't know what it is yet but there are you sure that the post said it should remain secret my guess is that article was that the post said that it's a bunch of boring stuff and that it was more of a pitch than informational that this was stuff that the company put together as a sales pitch to the n.s.a. for more of their services why and you know i'll just dial it back to say remains to be seen but it's my understanding that reporters were given things and their reporters on the record who said we felt that these should remain secret but i mean to sort of bring it up to to another notch though the idea that this guy was in hong kong at the same time that the president was having a summit with the president
