we must travel along to visit other activities here in the military district of washington. here is a job you wouldn't expect to find in our modern army, and it's just about the only job of its kind left. but here at fort myer, it's a very important job. it's about the only job left in the cavalry army. they draw the caissons, and it gets its share of attention. polish and elbow grease is in perfect order as it bears the casket of the fallen hero. this is the comparison horse, riderless with cavalry boots turned backwards in the stirrups of the empty saddle. it follows behind the caisson in the funeral procession. case we've now moved to a position immediately adjacent to arlington national cemetery here at north post, fort myer. off to my left is a cemetery. we have asked the noncommissioned officer of a detail that has been on funeral duty over here in the cemetery to report to us at this position. he's due along here at any moment. this is sergeant roger gregory, section leader of the caisson detachment here at north post, fort myer, virginia. and this is big boy. roger,

so items from wilson's home in princeton, items from edith wilson's home here in washington, and the things that they had acquired together in the white house, including gifts of state, personal gifts, wedding gifts, were all brought here to s street. they remain here today and so we serve as the presidential museum for woodrow wilson. great things in the collection including his cabinet chair that we see behind the desk. again, as tradition, the cabinet on the last day of a president's administration reach into their own pockets and pay the government for the president's chair, and that was brought here to s street along with other great items including his inaugural bible. one of the treasures certainly here in the case, unfortunately, it's too delicate. it's just a soft-bound bible, and so it's usually kept closed here in the case, but inside there's an engraved sheet, has wilson's signatures for the governorship of new jersey, in 1910, as well as two signatures for each of his inaugurations in 1913 and 1916. the painting, again, really sums up wilson and his career. it was done in

here. overall washington, d.c., you're getting off pretty lucky with this storm. ture has been staying to your south. some of this could sneak in here but we're not looking for significant accumulations. a little difficulty for your travel. even the places near that rain and snow have low overcast conditions so that makes it it tough to navigate into the area airports. there are winter storm warnings in effect here along i-77, along 81 and that's where we're expecting three to six inches of accumulation. you have to get up in elevation to start to see some of the greater numbers. for the most part we've been seeing snowfall totals on the range of two to three inches. for example, williamsburg, kentucky, looking at about two inches of snowfall. where is the system headed? this thing is going to be moving up to the north and east and kind of a fast mover up at this point. this is the position we're expecting to be by 11:00 tonight. there you can still see some of the heavy snow into the central appalachians and just rain into the coast al areas over towards norfolk a
