washington, d.c., goes back a long ways. unfortunately, when it comes to winning baseball in the nation's capital, it is pretty much the goldenra. it has been 79 years since we have seen a post season game in washington. fans today see that they are a part of history today. you can get these standing room for $30. not forever but they have a few left if you'd like to come down to the baseball game. they put the game on its own network, so it is only being televised on mlb network. what do you do? lots of people finding other places like a local drinking establishment. for that returned to crystal city with more on how fans are reacting. >> do not worry, they have it here at crystal city sports club. like i was saying, we have northern virginia as well. there is that feeling that baseball is back in washington and for the first time in a long time we have playoff baseball here in the capital. >> this is the first time since the early 1930's. it was very exciting with the capitals having something to cheer about. >> we are hoping that this is another win. what are you hoping for out of today's game? >> something exciting. it ha

it the magic number was zero and your washington nationalled became national league east champs for the first time ever. it really is and historic time here in d.c. they haven't been tie world series since 1933, a washington-based baseball team and they haven't won a world series since 1924. so these are head you days indeed. we caught up with mike rizzo, the general manager, after the game and he talked about what it means to have a team doing this well. >> it feels terrific. from where we are just a few short years ago, the fan base is electric. it is a young athletic ball club that we put together. we sprinkled in some seasoned veterans to help lead us along the way. keep pouring it. i love it. and this is one of the stops. this is one of our stops and we're looking for do bigger and better things. >> you don't mind getting the champagne in the eye and everelse for that matter when you win a division title. but there still are things to play for. they still have two games remaining on the scheduled tonight at 7:00 and tomorrow afternoon. they are 96-64, tied with cincinnati for the v
