we are just leaving washington square park. there was a moment of silence there and everybody is just together. it is a peaceful demonstration. it really is a march. people holding signs, which really is interesting also to watch, the neighborhood and how they've come out to support what is happening here. a lot of people have been cooped up inside of their homes and they've come to their windows in some cases to bang pots and pans, to show support of these marchers as they go through this street marching and you're hearing "no justice, no peace" right now. most of the people have been wearing masks. i say people giving out masks and water, giving out food. and they're just continuing to march. we're now heading north through here where you see water and snacks being given out. and that is what we're seeing here. it is very peaceful. it is beautiful to see, i have to tell you, after what i witnessed last night, seeing this really is a good feeling. because what went on last night was so awful. and you could tell everyone here -
