this is a freight train that runs between washington state here. and canada takes farm produce and other goods back and forth. and the storm and the power of the water just completely flipped that train. the water came through so strong. here people are telling me that it was surprising. it took them off guard, they're used to storms here, but nothing like this. the water level is receding. now as you can see, but just 48 hours ago. busy this was a giant raging river and that river rushed right through here into the railroad tracks and flipped the train as used thou see behind me and you get a real sense of how strong the force of the water is. that it actually also twisted the railroad tracks the steel railroad tracks. they're just twisted them like they're pretzels, almost you really get a sense of how strong this storm was here in this town. about 80 percent of all of the buildings and homes were damaged. most residents have fled and not come back yet. we've just seen only a couple residents clearing out the remains of what's left or their homes
