host: jonathan turley is a law professor with george washington university.cks georgia o'keeffe was really the first well-known artist. well known for her life in the 1970's. there was nobody who could match her fame. she became a feminist icon, and i grew up under her influence. my first recognition of her work was not as an art historian but as a budding feminist whose attention was drawn to these fabulous paintings. i lived in colorado. people talked about this woman. it was the way she lived. the 1929 forward, she came to new mexico four months out of the year, living apart from her husband. in the 1930's and 1940's, she continued to do this until her husband's death. then she moved to new mexico full-time. she lights up our imagination as an artist because she was famous so young and a sofa -- so famous so young. secondly, she lived the life she wanted to live. she was a very disciplined woman, and i think that stands out as lemon made choices even right through to the 1970's, they made choices that accommodate family and other pursuits in their life. ge

the mission's deputy investigator ray arvidson of washington university said he will remember spirit as a fighter. quote, it wouldn't quit just like the little engine that chugged up the hill. sometimes this poetry appears a bit overdone but they may find quite serious descriptions of the rovers character and its accomplishments, like a children's bedtime story. the plucky rover will be remembered for demystifying mars to the masses. this is a story of perseverance. talking about the rovers in this way in the third person makes it possible for the scientists to tell us about themselves, how they feel about the rovers and the challenges they encounter. this is a personal emotional presentation that you will not find in the journal of science and nature. now, this metaphor of the robotic explorer actually appeared on the planetary spacecraft in the 1970s and it has become a journalistic clichÉ. a few years ago andrew jenkins subtitle this book intrepid explorers of the red planet. now the book is about the scientists passion for mars, but in his poetic graphic the intrepid explorers ar

new study out of george washington university says that liberal people using the internet are less tolerantervative net users are. also 71% of americans younger than 25 believe what they see on the net is as or more trustworthy than what they get from the mainstream media. joining us now from washington kate observer shane a republican strategist and kirsten powers. i always knew liberal people were more sensitive. more sensitive to criticism. more sensitive to disagreement and according to the study, 22% of liberals have ended digital relationships, whatever they are, because somebody disagreed with them politically for conservatives the number is 15%. and you say? >> you know, i have to say this actually jives with sort of real life experience that i have found, especially as i came into more contact with conservatives as i got older because i used to live very much in a democratic bubble when i worked in politics. did i find that they were much more open to sort of hearing other viewpoints where i think liberals because they are so used to controlling all the media pretty much, academia,
