we were near 80 degrees around watsonville.at cooler but this morning the dewpoints are lower. we are cooler from napa, petaluma, and typical, mid-30s to the upper 40s by the delta. here's a look at the roof camera. the clouds streaking across the sky, making for a very nice picture there. 7:19 the official sunrise. partly cloudy conditions. and sunny and mild averages for today, tomorrow, into the middle of the week. then the ridge will head out of town, bringing a chance of showers by thursday, friday and cooler weather through next weekend. here's the forecast animation for the next couple hours. notice we are back to more sunshine. it won't take much for the numbers to surpass our average highs, which are just in the upper 50s to near 60. we fast forward to wednesday. the ridge weakens. by thursday the rain headed down from the north, and it will allow for some cloudy skies the rest of thursday and thursday night, into friday is when the showers move our way. at this point we may be looking at a quarter to third of an inch
