wayne community schools is proposing a new gym and performing arts center at both the junior and senior high. the plan also includes a new building for kindergagaen and preschool studentsts last night, community members were able to hear the vision and give their feedback on the proposal. if the school board moves forward with the plan, it would become a bond-issue. it's projected to be an $18- million dollar project. wayne schools added a preschool program this year. that program is currently in a leased building. the superintenden t says getting a building for those students and kindergarten would be the next step.
