i also want to call out wayne donaldson. important.s so much for your good work. represent a variety of different organizations. i won't read them all out but let me read a couple that have been a gathering of all of you that have spoken with a powerful councilke the advisory on historic preservation. the national conference of state --toric preservation office the national alliance of reservation commission. thank you all for the work you some -- we could not do it without you. at least we are not shut down. look at the bright side. down when it shut get to december 11 because we have a bipartisan deal which is extraordinary. we don't have enough money. plain and simple. we american public has said don't want to invest the way we used to. private philanthropy has gone to being the margin of excellence to the margin of survival. foundation, we know that and the national trust , it is organizations that have stepped in to fill the void. i don't think we are going to go the way life used to be but one important ring is because of firms like american express and the
