wayne freeman is live from tehama county. >> reporter: good evening. we do have a good sense of who the shooter is but we cannot identify him yet. the time line as to who he shot and when and where remains a little bit muddy. this is still an active investigation. we dock there are five people dead including the suspect. five people dead. at least ten people injured. from what just emerged, there may be more. as it turns out, the sheriff told us that there are relatives of this suspect that they have not heard from, who they should have heard from. these are relatives who are missing or unheard of and they worry about their safety. it is the small community you never heard of until today. one filled with police, police tape, shell casings and early this morning, fatal gunfire. >> all i'm told is it is a semi-automatic rifle. >> reporter: what we heard was ten rounds. >> i said it was like bruce willis movie. >> reporter: this woman identified herself only as sharon, the 45-minute ordeal was almost over. it began in a neighborhood where the suspect sho
