do seem, and again we'll hear the speech in a few minutes, but they do seem to be falling by the waysidehat's where we're all expressing different levels of concern. if you're the white house and you're thinking about where to do a speech, you could argue, you go saudi arabia because that's where there's a heart of a problem and i want to address that and go into the belly of the beast. i don't know that this speech is going to meet that bar, or not from the excerpts that we've seen at this point in time. i think this is a struggle for many presidents. this president, i think, has a different challenge than past in that he is digging out of a big hole of concern that has been in the muslim world, not just in the middle east but around the world, about comments he's made, about the travel ban that, you know, we shouldn't lose the not irony, that's a terrible way of saying it, that at home his administration is fighting to reinstate the travel ban, even while he is trying to reset his relationship with the muslim world. and so speeches, they are opportunities to reset. they don't heal all
