kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> thank you. police continue to search for the person who shot a man in northwest baltimore. the victim walk into sinai hospital telling doctors he had been shot. he is now cooperating with police. an arrest in southwest baltimore gets out of control and winds up with police shooting and killing a family dog. there were taking a drug suspect into custody on sunday when the suspect ran out of the door. an officer shot and killed the animal. no one else was hurt. searching the bushes in parkville for a python. somebody said they saw the snake on the road on taylor avenue. when officers arrived, it was gone. it was captured in a nearby bush. nobody was injured. >> a woman is behind bars, accused of kidnapping a 10-year- olmonth-old boy. no word on who might have shot and killed a teenager this weekend. a car pulled up and a gunman jumped out and shot the teenager several times. the victim was taken to the hospital where he later died. anyone with information should call police. police have made an ar

brian moore, wbal-tv 11 news. >> now an update to our breaking news from yesterday. a special session for a sixth casino site in maryland will not happen in july. it comes after a work group in annapolis failed to reach agreement over the proposed site. lowell melser joins us live from the newsroom with reaction. >> it was just last friday when officials from mgm resorts international announced in annapolis their big plans for a casino resort at the national harbour. it had the blessing of governor o'malley, who planned to call a special session for july. now it looks like that will not happen. it was touted as a world-class casino and resort, destination for tourists and residents alike, right in the middle of the national harbour in prison or discounted. it would have 40,000 slot machines and 250 table games. last friday in gm resorts international and the developer signed a letter of intent with the state to build a casino, as long as the sixth site was approved, table games were legalized, and the state dropped its unusually high tax rate from 67% to around 62%.

this is wbal-tv 11 news at noon. >> good afternoon. i am sarah caldwell. many people across maryland begin cleanup projects. the latest out of the severe weather brought powerful thunderstorms and even tornadoes. kim dacey has a look at how things stand today. >> this home in towson illustrates some of the damage we are seeing. the roof is gone because of a tree fell on it. harford county took the brunt of the hit from the tornadoes. county officials there estimated damage at more than $1 million. days after a tornado touched down in harford county, the path of destruction is still visible. downed trees, damaged homes, and caught the buildings, one of them an auto-detailing shop in fallston, collapsed on the honor. he was sent to the hospital with serious injuries. >> he has a rod and some pins in his leg. >> harford county government officials say it could have been worse. >> it was about a mile-and-a- half area that the tornado travelled, about a quarter of a mile wide. very fortunate that the number of residences in that area had not been hit harder. at
