sam: (adlib toss) sam weather adlib: sam weather adlib: yesterday was an insane day for iowa. we had highs in the 60s, storms which produced multiple tornado warnings as they raced across the state, and then to top it all of we had snow falling in western and central iowa! the rain and snow may be gone, but the weather is still very busy today. we are going to start cloudy but in the afternoon the sun should come back out and allow temps to climb to 51 degrees. the winds are going to continue screaming across the state from the overnight hours through the afternoon with gusts up around 45 mph! around 33 degrees, and if not for the strong wind we would likely be below freezing! friday should be very cold and windy again with a high right near 50 and lows in the 30s that night. the weekend still looks very nice with mainly dry conditions and highs in the low 60s. next week is looking pretty cold and wet with plenty of rain in the forecast and highs falling into the 40s and below. elias: elias: our top story this morning...rain and strong winds whipped through central iowa wednes
