bartos 59. 69 sarasota, 68 weeki wachee. yes the storm system is here and yes the air is cold. it's not super frigid but it's cold enough to bring snow. and that's what the folks in the north are expecting. and earlier this week we were talking about this cold front going through texas. there's that milky looking sky here with the high pressure continuing to bring in more of a southeast to easterly flow for us. the prospects were pure clear skies before this high pressure passes through. here come the clouds again in the morning hours. showers and storms temperatures and that's around 10:30. again we mentioned the best possibility of possible severe weather, pinellas county northward. that's around 1:30, but look how quickly everything starts to clear back to the west of us. that will set up the cooler and windier saturday i mentioned. for the evening commute, clearing skies. temperatures in the 60s and possible residual cold rain. but mostly overcast and keep in mind it will be fairly windy. 65degrees for the evening. again plenty of clouds around. maybe some clear patches ove

and 68 weeki wachee. you can see areas that are expecting if snow are hovering around the freezing mark and just to the northwest. certainly cold enough to snow. and typically when we see these storms systems we usually don't see extreme cold with them. we are seeing temperatures just here. winter storm warnings in place. winter weather advisories this is the area of low pressure that will pass just to the north. we're interesting in the trailing cold front that's coming south of this. maybe clear patches back to the west. as for severe weather, a slight risk goes through sections of citrus county, hernando county. a marginal risk for the north of the bay area. seeing some severe weather. perhaps at a moderate level. tornadoes, winds, rain, we've been talking about this el nino phase, 159 knots basically right over us. you can see the snow stretching out across that part of the country. with high pressure by saturday. that's why we're expecting chillier condition with the high pressure building in. much c

that increases by 7% by 10:00 a.m. 64degrees barto. 61 clear water. 60 weeki wachee, 60 brooksville. 21degrees minneapolis. although we're talking about a storm system that goes from cincinnati to dc up to new york city. most of these areas aren't really super cold. they're cold enough snow but not at extreme levels. this area of low pressure is one we're talking about. winter storm warnings to the south: tornado warning pushing into mississippi and alabama. very unstable air. and of course the clouds spreading out ahead of that. a nice subtropical stream of high and mid-level clouds. pressure. the colder north and northwest side that's where the snow is going to occur. maybe up to 2 feet or more the computer model suggested some places like virginia. but potentially places like washington, d.c. too as jen was saying her brother's job shut down saying don't even come to 54degrees on saturday. clears the area. 57 on sunday. and if you're headed out to the children's parade know that the clouds will probably be hanging around a bit. it'll be cool, it'll be windy. so that translates int
