mark weinberg was part of all of it. that's not to say the week of the present stopped, and never did. houston briefed every day. the paperwork, meetings and speeches. he delivered a weekly radio address and stayed on top of what was going on. a lot of that briefing responsibility fell on mark. remember there is no fox news network back then. saturday nights were reserved as movie nights. the current hits and golden oldies. once in a while they would watch movie that one of them started. once they viewed a movie they started together. it was taboo to bring up work in the evening had a traditional schedule as to when invited guests were expected, what time the movie would play, where he said how long you stayed afterwards for commentary. there are few who can say they're part of this movie club. mark is one of those few. the pages of his book are filled with wonderful history and remembrances of unscripted moments. i have to admit that when i went to write intro remarks i put my feelers out to a large group of friends to
