. >> supervisor welton? >> thank you, i also wanted to comment on the report along with supervisor mar, and i 100% agree that we need to build more affordable housing, particularly consistently across the city. i do want to highlight the fact that the data shows in the report that the neighborhood preference legislation is working. we fought very hard to put that legislation in place. because of the outmigration of block forks, because of the folks that we are losing people of color in the city every day, and so the hard work of the preference is demonstrated that it does work within the data and in the report, but we have a long way to go before we can reverse any trends of outmigration and in order to be able to keep our population's indigenous as we grow as a city. i want to thank the supervisors for calling for this reports because this is something we have to closely monitor and watch year after year, but i am excited to see it working as we continue to build more affordable housing in our communities.
