let's ask wendell goler who joins us live from japan tonight, hi, wendell. >> reporter: the presidentertainly didn't get as much as he wanted, he hoped to reconfigure a bush administration free trade agreement with south korea. that basically shut the u.s. out of the korean auto market and also, gets international pressure on china to stop adjusting its currency, to gain an unfair advantage in exports, he got neither. and, in some ways it is a result of the decision a couple of years ago to expands the world's most important economic group from 8 members to 20. the president agreed it was necessary to bring in merging economies like china and brazil, to cope with the economic crisis but, now the crisis is over, and those economies, chinese and brazilian economies are booming and the president has been unable to convince them america's economy is weak enough to threaten the rest of the world, especially since u.s. trade and -- in this region of the world seems to be expanding quite well and here's what he said to the ceos, yesterday. >> president barack obama: the u.s. is looking to ex
