wendy, tell us about your experience with him. you said he tout you to look within yourself.ell us what that meant. >> yes. his influence was great on me as well as many of these other people in the show. he was the initial spark really for us. we did go on and have other teachers in our careers. but he's the one that got us to find our own voice. that was really unique and special to him that he helped us to really find our own way and it's very clear when you see the show the diversity in the show is very reminiscent of what it was like in the art room back in the day. the '60s and '70s, the creative energy in his art room, it does not exist in today's world. >> we have been seeing some of the artwork. we were showing some of it. what are some of the things that we can expect to see by coming to the exhibit? >> you have sculpture, you have painting, you have drawing. you have a lot of mixed media. it really does cross -- you have everything from traditional landscapes and still lives to extremely untraditional mixed media pieces with photography and pure abstract at well. >
