let's bring back wendy murphy. wendy, we've looked at the latest developments, this testimony they are now looking at. judge belvin is looking at the situation, he is not happy. he may come back and say this is another stall tactic. what do you think is happening here? >> i think he's really angry with the defense in particular because what the prosecution said is the defense had this expert information. we gave them everything about what we might provide from these witnesses. what are they complaining about? and so i think judge perry is basically indulging the defense, assuming that he really doesn't know everything, but i think the judge believes that the defense knows exactly what the prosecution plans to put on in this very brief rebuttal testimony. so we will likely see the trial end in terms of the rebuttal case later today. that's my prediction, because i don't think they're likely to make extensive, complicated points like some of another experts have done in the past couple of weeks. >> judge perry had to

i promised wepd demur fee our lo -- wendy murphy joining us from boston. wendy, i give you the opportunity to say whether or not you still believe the case against casey anthony is a slam dunk for the prosecution? >> when does i believe that? i am sorry. we should have spoken sooner. i said on "the today show" right after the opening statements that i believed sheould be acquitted and if the best case the prosecution had was that which they described in the opening i would vote to acquit i am the fiercest child advocate. you know what i stand for. i was very distraught at the hopi opening because i didn't hear the evidence that i was assuming was going to come out and that was under wraps because of the fair trial it didn't come out. it kills me because inow this was not a good mother. but i believe sitting here tonight she did not kill her child. i tell awe couple reasons why. i tell you another story lots of evidence in this case is under seal. photographs of caylee that was ceased in this case are so dam prejudicial because they are under seal. wonder wh

i'm joined by veteran criminal trial lawyer, ricky, and wendy murphy, former prosecutor. i know we have a lot to talk about. wendy, what is your reaction, the initial reaction to what the judge was able to do? because according to everyone that i have talked to, he threw the book at her, at least the book that he was given to the jury. >> it was a paper back but a book nonetheless. he gave her the max. no question. why he chose to do that, my sense is, although judges may never admit this, when there is a mob outside and they are angry and they believe something happened to this child, even though she's acquitted, when the public feels like the justice system failed, the judge will do what needs to be done to keep things calm. let's say judge perry is right, that she will have at most one more month behind the bars, or at least a few weeks, it allows this noise to calm down. >> do you agree with ricky, that it allows it to dissipate and the fact that there are angry mobs. there are people across this country that are angry but they are not outside the courthouse all gather
