dan billow, wesh 2 news. angela: a man has been arrested for a deadly shooting last night in sanford. marquis grooms' s body was found inside an apartment at kensington oaks. a woman inside had also been shot in the hand. mccants turned himself in, and after a brief investigation, he was charged with both shootings. police say mccants and the victim knew each other. but they are not saying what prompted the incident. just into the newsroom, a 24-year-old man has been arrested for burglarizing ucf' s performing arts center. police say thomas williams can be seen on camera making off with a projector and an american flag. it happened last week, sometime between wednesday night and thursday morning. williams is charged with burglary and grand theft. jim: just-released 911 calls made during tuesday' s vicious dog attack in sanford, paint a horrifying picture. and as wesh 2' s dave mcdaniel found out, the same dogs have spilled people' s blood before. 911 caller: there' s four dogs attacking her, please. dave: two

more on wesh 2 news at 6:00. after 30 years, 10 trials, three victims, and one conviction, the story of tampa serial killer oscar ray bolin has ended. angela: he was executed last night, but not on schedule. bolin was scheduled to be killed at 6:00 p.m. but several last minute appeals were filed, a judge looked them over, bolin, and the families of his victims who had gathered to watch him die, waited. the appeals were rejected and bolin was put to death at 10:16 last night. he was convicted for the 1986 killing of teri lynn matthews, who he abducted from a post office. teri lynn' s mother was there last night to watch bolin die. stewart: a busy intersection near downtown miami is flooded today due to a large water main break. a box truck tried to maneuver around what is believed to be a manhole and the driver found himself stuck just as crews were responding to the break. sections of the street are closed off as water continues to spill out and repairs get s unknown how many homes or businesses are affected by t

summer knowles, wesh 2 news. stewart: we are getting a look at new video taken during a police-involved shooting in orlando this afternoon. this all started around 9:00 a.m. when police say a man was car-jacked by three people on conway and curry ford roads. around 1:00, officers spotted that car near bumby avenue and south street. this is surveillance footage, taken by a camera positioned nearby. it is a little blurry, but watch the dark orange car. police say that' s the one that was stolen. you can see officers crash into to approach it, the suspects try to drive away. that is when shots were fired. we' re told one of the suspects, a woman, was hit in the arm. the two men she was with were arrested. the department says three of its officers opened fire. none of them were hurt. those officers are now on leave while fdle investigates the use of force. just into the wesh 2 news room, sanford police say a 15-year-old was shot and killed while riding in his car on central street this afternoon. tamar harris was kil

wesh 2' s claire metz joins us live. claire, all of this even though some services are now in place to resolve the situation? claire: the city promised to find 100 beds to resolve this situation, and they say they are more than half way there, yet the numbers in front of this building, in a very public downtown location, don' t seem to dwindle. we' re trying to find out why. >> within a 24 hour period, we actually filled up all the beds. claire: mike cornell helped take every homeless veteran off the streets of volusia county through a program at the salvation army. he thinks he can do the same appeared on downtown beach street in front of the county and a half ago. the salvation army has opened 46 beds, and are planning on so why doesn' t it look like the numbers are going down on the street? >> we did notice that a lot of the folks for whatever reason did not actually, were not even eligible for any homeless service. >> so there are people there who are not legitimately homeless? >> that is what is suspected. claire: i

in viera, brevard county, dan billow, wesh 2 news. angela: a sanford police officer shot five dogs, killing them to end the violent episode. a sixth dog was taken to animal services. the woman most severe was airlifted to ormc and is still in critical condition. four of the six dogs involved in tuesday' s incident, were also involved in a dog biting case in december at a different address. but according to animal services, in that case, the dogs were going after each other and people were bitten trying to break it up, so it' s not considered aggression against people. jim: a registered sexual predator is behind bars and seminole county, accused of allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl two days ago. 40-year-old walter ambrose has been convicted of sexual battery in orange, brevard, and seminole counties. south florida for a case in longwood. police say he put a knife to the child' s throat and forced himself upon her in the girl' s home. >> hopefully we can put him away for good this time. he' s not out on the streets doing this again to
