[ applause ] let me get my cards, and we officially start the show here. so, i don't know if you guys watched the other day. i was on a rant. i'm a dallas cowboy fan, and i am unapologetic about it. i don't care if you like the cowboys. you have to live with it. but i'm a '70s kid. i was born in 1970, and i grew up watching the cowboys with my dad in the '70s, with stars like drew pearson, who was the wide receiver. [ cheers and applause ] incredible. well, drew was recently snubbed by the pro football hall of fame. i still cannot get over it. i was in miami talking about it. people who were miami dolphins fans were made about it. but drew made headlines. he had an emotional reaction to the news that he wasn't getting in this year, so let me set everything up. he had gathered friends and family, they were watching it, there were tv cameras.

and wesh have seen dramatically higher cost increases recently. why? you can't separate administration from accountability. it's too easy to write a check when you don't sign it. just ask my daughters that are here today. the situation -- that was a joke. [laughter] this situation is unsustainable. with our program we are going to have to do it again this year and we will and we can. the program made medicaid better than ever before and we will do that once again this year. [applause] we must continue our actions to protect new yorkers for the dangers of smoking especially young people by cracking down on illegal sales of cigarettes. fighting big tobacco companies i did this as the attorney general gets come back to life in a different wrapper. we know well the danger of nicotine addiction and we don't yet know the dangers of vaping but young americans are dying to find out. new york led the way and they are challenging and more will continue the legal fight, but let's pass the law restricting the sale of the e. cigarettes and advertising and banning d
