pretty much a solid line developing west of baltimore and d.c.uted color you see there, that's a severe thunderstorm watch until 10:00 tonight. we have new warnings out. showed you that storm a while ago. and not under a warning, just five minutes ago. you're now under a thunderstorm warning. and that will go until 6:45. that includes howard county, montgomery county, and of course, anne arundel county. and this is the storm that will track a lot of lightning, too. this is headed toward ashton. and severn at about 6:24. and frequent lightning and strong, gusty winds. and heavy downpours. now, to the south and west we go. there is still a warning on this. and this has been probably the strongest we've seen in terms of shear and hail. reportings of two-inch-sized hail. again, not far from middle burg and the plains. you were under a severe thunderstorm warning until 6:15. that includes fairfax and prince williams county. this is i a storm we scanned. possible prorotations between middleburg and the plains. in the course of the last 20 minutes. game

line of thunderstorms rumbling in off to our west and you can see these storms weakening a bit, heaviest right now moving in maryland and d.c. and baltimore area but look what is happening to the west. we have one nasty storm, south of mount pocono. another one over portions of north hampton county. then we have another little line off to the west forming behind this first push of storms. can't rule out a stray shower or thunderstorm really at anytime this evening or tonight and this one just south of mount pocono does have have that hook we look for in the severe thunderstorm this could produce strong wind and frequent lightening and very heavy rainfall. future weather shows scattered nature of the storms. it could all come together between 7:00 and 8:00 o'clock locally heavy thunderstorms moving through the city, portions of delaware county into the state of delaware and then eventually dying out. air is so stable down the shore it looks like storms won't get a good foot hold down the shore later this evening. you can see overnight cloud hang on. we will start tomorrow with cloud cover and through the day the sun tries to peak out. poss
