lafayette. everything is carving out over the west. we are in the western edge of the system. they will continue into nevada and arizona. it looks like a cold system. we get that northerly flow temperatures are warmer. fairfield and napa had that northerly breeze. now, temperatures are warming up. you get that north wind that is cold in the morning but it warms up the afternoon. there's upper 50s and if you near 60 degrees per you will stay in the 50s if we don't get that breeze. temperatures will stay near average for the whole week a couple of systems are coming in . they are not a big deal. cool and breezy. late wednesday and early thursday, continued to be cool for the sarah. there were not be much out of the system and the thing that is saturday out of the north. this is champagne for that seer and not much rain for us. near 60 for the temps. it is cold breeze and it looks this way all the way into tuesday. wednesday clouds up. thursday and friday is nice. one more system late saturday night into sunday morning. >>> the newly updated weather app is free to download. it ha

lafayette, walnut creek north of pleasant hill. it is not raining in san jose but it is poor just to your north, west, and south down toward morgan hill. as we zoom out we have a line of showers moving into santa rosa which has received 5 inches of rain. in san francisco 3.75 3.26 inches of rain making it the second wettest february storm since 1908. big-time snow has led to a big- time gain again in our snowpack. as of right now the snowpack is 36% above average and it is actually higher than what we hoped for an april 1. we are now actually 2% above that. that is amazing. there's more snow coming. we are getting chilly outside compared to yesterday. san jose down to 53, concorde 53. we have the atmospheric river down to the south but is not coming back. it is pouring in arizona and nevada. las vegas got record rainfall stay in southern california. what we have is a big broad area of low pressure diving down from the gulf of alaska. this will keep cold, unstable air around so you will get a couple of hours and sunshine and it will get dark and poor, then such an will come back. we will repeat the cycle all the way through sunday afte

from lafayette to san ramon we zoom in closer where you can see the downpour in piedmont, west oakland, oakland, across the bay bridge into the sunset district and the bayview district. here is the wet bay bridge camera and you can see temperatures running in the 40s to about 50 in oakland. concord at 46, 45 in livermore, san francisco and san jose at 48 with low 40s in santa rosa. not as windy as yesterday morning but still strong wind at 17 mile an hour in half moon bay, 18 in downtown san francisco, 40 mile an hour sustained in vallejo, antioch and napa. this is the second wettest they were storm since 1998 with that atmospheric river event picking up 3 1/4 inches of rain in the last two days in san francisco. we have seen a lot of rain and especially in the north bay. here's the jet stream taking the dip with the atmospheric river to the south. the unstable air with his cold low pressure system bringing unsettled weather today through the weekend. we are at 7 am with showers and off and on showers through the afternoon with sunshine mixing in through as well. here we are at 7 pm. y
