this time at the west oakland station.fficers say, a man knocked a woman to the ground and stole her phone. no arrests have been made. (pam) this comes as bart is launching a program to help riders protect their electronic devices. the transit agency says, it is seeing an increase in cell phone thefts - at bart stations - all across the bay area. through june of this year, bart has already seen 225 cell phone thefts. in 2014, there were only 137. (grant) a pleasant hill family business was able to recover a train amusement ride... through the help of social media.(grant) this is video of the train named 'the fun and games express'. the amusement ride was stolen early sunday morning along with the trailer. police were alerted about the missing ride. but it was a facebook post that went viral and helped the recovery. someone who saw the post spotted the trailer behind a yoga studio in walnut creek this morning. now the business owner says he feels comfort that a lot of people helped with the search.
