areas north and west of philly are getting less snow, but the temperature is so low that it's hard to take care of it. the salt doesn't work on temperatures like that, so you've got your own problems there. there's the morning rush and so it's snowing everywhere. it's windy everywhere. of course windiest at the shore. 11:00 a.m. they're still getting some snow, heaviest at the shore, and tapering off in the afternoon. it's a fast-moving storm and that's why the snow totals are not even higher than this 8 to 10 inches across southern delaware, all along the shore. 4 to 8 inches in the major area around the i-95 corridor and lesser amounts to the north and west. so southeastern delaware, georgetown, lewis, long neck could get close to 10 inches. same thing with cape may, atlantic city. vineland is in the 4 to 8 inch. hammenton, weymouth, browns mills in the 4 to 8. tom's river in the 8 to 10. king of prussia, waterford, washington, bullwich, all in the 4 to 8 inch zone. and again, we could update this later tonight. allentown, maiden creek, you're in the 1 to 3, reading in the 1 to 3. a

philly off to the south and west. but the issue is still taking place right here.nywhere between scudder falls down toward just outside trent trenton. so going down the river here and it really is more avenue localized problem but this could be a concern right through at least the evening rush here tonight at which point we'll probably be cresting on the river. about 20.5 feet which again is just slightly above flood stage. looking at the current map here on storm scan, pretty quiet. we've had clouds pretty much throughout the course of the morning. not much sunshine that will continue to be a theme for the rest of the day. currently at 29 degrees at the airport and generally in the 20s almost everywhere you are start to go rebound higher down near the shore points but it is a cold beginning to the afternoon. take look at the rest of the region as whole for daytime highs don't expect much more than where we currently stand a few additional degrees but colder than average by nearly 1. so cold afternoon. and that will set the stage for next system which comes in brin
