story. she has the latest on the most recent victim, an elderly woman on the upper west side that figure of ten deaths. it's shocking to hear. >> indeed. it seems like there has been an in increase in pedestrian deaths in the past several days. the latest happened here, an elderly woman who lived down the block, 109th street, was struck and killed by a taxi. there is a memorial growing for her. her grandson who we talked with last night, was in tears visiting the memorial. 88-year-old luisa rosario was killed after a cab hit her at corner of 109th street and columbus avenue. the 73-year-old driver, the cab driver, his license has been suspended. rosario's death came hours after several people were involved in pedestrian collisions with drivers this week. elderly women hit by buses in queens, another woman hit on the upper west side in some cases the drivers stayed and were not charged. mayor deblasio talked about the vision zero program and what drivers still need to do. >> i think a lot of it is people who are -- have a license, are not under the influence, but driving too fast. i think th
