those folks in rappahannock county and in the mountains of west virginia. temperatures are in the 20's. we are not even close to the record low. 22 degrees in town. with a northwesterly wind it 15-20 miles per hour. it means the wind chill is into the single digitss. in germantown, it feels like is 3 degrees. dress accordingly tomorrow morning. even tomorrow, it will continue to be windy and cold. this is what it looks like in west virginia, with its still snowing and the high elevations. this is the wind chill. this is what you should be feeling throughout the day tomorrow. you will start feeling about 5- 10 degrees, the high temperature will be 22. snow? you betcha. i'll tell you about that when i join you. stery conditions caused problems for firefighters, some that had to battle a cold tonight. >> the fire is contained. firefighters say that getting to this point was no easy task. the water was freezing on those instantly. you will notice where it is leading this dangerous glaze everywhere. it looks like a blizzard as firefighters saw through walls and

looks like some pretty moderate snowfall could fall across southern west virginia. as we told you earlier for our region, here's what we expect. take a look at this graphic. we kind of upped it. generally i think across northern marry lands and down to our south, 1 to 3 inches, maybe 3 or 4 inches if you're heading down 95 into the richmond area. you folks down there could see as much as 3-inches of snow, so it's going to get slick. it may start around the noon hour. let's take a look at the rest of our graphics. we do have that lake effect snow going on. what we're looking at is that batch that's moving in our general direction and it's coming our way with the low pressure that's going to sit over kentucky by early morning around move off to east just south of us. this mild air overrunning the cool air. you see that band and then tomorrow night it clears out once again and gets cold. anything that's left is going to freeze up solid. and then another system we expect to come by the coast on sunday could give us some more snow on sunday. southwest the day at 5 to 10

louisiana with a 1.4% growth and west virginia with 2.5% growth can be contrasted to texas with a 20.6% growth. in the west, there is an even larger difference between montano what 9.6% growth and again nevada with 35.1%. now i turn to the implication of the 2010 official census results on the membership of the u.s. house of representatives. as you know, the constitutional purpose of the senses is the redistribution of the membership of the house of representatives across states, proportional to their populations. since 1940, the law has specified that the census bureau use the method of equal proportions to assign seats to states. this method is based on the population of the 50 states, excluding the district of columbia, supplemented by the federal-affiliated overseas population. if we look at the congressional apportionment each decade since states, and a tendency to lose seats from the midwestern and northeastern states. in fact, since 1940 there has been a net shift of 79 seats to the south and west. the affect of the official 2010 population count at the state level on congression

grant county schools closed in west virginia but faculty and staff on a two-hour delay.wo hour delays for hampshire, hardy, jefferson, mineral and morgan counties. you can get the latest at the top of your screen or on myfoxdc.com. >> out to the west, they got more snow. for us here, we have a little bit of snow on the ground particularly the northern half of the viewing area generally speaking. we are talking about the northern half of the beltway out into maryland, montgomery county, places like that. it is enough to make things slippery here and there. let's take a look at hd radar. we are seeing additional snow particularly along the i-270 corridor. if you live there, you want to allow some extra time as we are seeing snowfall move right across 270 this morning into gaithersburg. let's take a look at the graphics. there is a winter weather advisory in effect for the counties that you see in blue. yes, it does include washington d.c. this is in effect until 9:00 for some additional light snowfall amounts. nsh to that, there are other advisories -- in addition to that,

you can see that into virginia and west virginia. t the further into virginia you go, further to the south, maybe three to four inches of snowfall across the area. if your travels take you that way, it's going to be difficult. that's why we have the winter weather advisory out there this morning through the evening time frame. so this is what it looks like on the satellite and radar. the weather pattern has the cold air in place, but also you see that between the cold and the warm front. that's the warm sector. we have milder air coming in. that milder air, that warmer air coupled with the colder air is not so good. that's why you are seeing the mixture. we are going to be seeing more snow moving in here going throughout the day. the forecast as we go into time shows that snow moving in. we have more snow maybe as we head into the weekend. but futurecast moves everything out by tomorrow. tomorrow looks pretty goodch plenty of sunshine in the forecast. get out and enjoy that. the only caveat is it will be cold. today, temperatures righ

so far all of these are in west virginia -- let's check out the driving conditions with kristin fisher. >> we have are seeing a few accidents stack up. we haven't gotten a ton of snow but we are seeing the wind pick up which is creating impressive drifts. look behind me. 495, you can see the bulk of the roadway is clear, those middle sections but the snow is stacking up on the side. i want you to look at this video we shot this morning, just about an hour and a half ago. two accidents that we spotted. the first on the outer loop at connecticut. car spun out and it hit the guardrail. the good news is the driver appeared to be okay. unfortunately the same cannot be said for his car. a second accident that we saw further down there'd road on the beltway happened at the inner loop at colesville. a truck driver saw a van that had spun out. he slowed down, put on his hazards an thin got slammed from behind. the driver of the car that hit him was take on the the hospital. she unfortunately was complaining of chest pain. as for the driver of the truck, the man that was hit, he's been a truck d
