and the westbound bay bridge, let's go back to the desk. >>> bart trains could be even more packed than usual this morning. tara moriarty is live in oakland where a pilot program just got underway, tara? >> well, they have made a couple of tweaks in order to accommodate all passengers. basically you will be allowed to bring your bikes for this entire week on to bart but during peak hours you will not have it on the first three cars of each train. that means from 7:00 until 9:00 and then again from 4:30 to 6:30 this evening. accommodating bikes does cut back but they don't like having tires this close to them. it will take place all week long but it was important because the last time the pilot took place on august during the light commute. this time it will happen during the peak commute to get a better idea of what happened all year around. they are looking at improving and come dating bikes and we will talk to some cyclists and non-cyclists to see what they think of this test run. >>> they are calling the death of an elderly man a homicide. at the vallejo police station, here is more
