westbound four looking good and westbound 80 not a bad ride and really staying busy through the compass eases up a lot getting through 680 and much better speed and not seeing any delays and sacking up early. >>> crews battling a fire at a card board manufacturing facility. >>reporter: we've been having ash flying over this way and hot spot popping up closer to us still in the storage yard for this card board manufacturing plant . the hot spot is on the side where we have a little better look and keeping the flames -- can't see the flames baa lot of smoke coming up and water on the storage yard and this area out here is about 200 feet by 250 feet and card board bales that are stacked and wrapped like hay bales and they do not believe the building was damaged in all of this. this is a plant that runs 24 hours a day and the good news is the manager confirmed all employees are evacuated and how hot and how fast this fire was. >> our first crew found out, it was a significant exposure and for it to burn a large bale of card board, has to be a huge amount of heat and spreads rapidly. >>repor

we have a problem along westbound highway 24. this was an earlier accident and it's still out there. at one point we had one lane blocked. looks like emergency crews have all laned blocked. they are trying to clear all that activity out of the roadway. they are using that shoulder through that stretch, and a big backup developing right now. westbound 24, 41 minutes just to get from 680 to 580. emergency crews along 580 near grand lakeshore, and a number of accidents here this morning. a lot of overturned vehicles, spinouts. it's definitely a morning to give yourself extra time. 580 near the bay bridge toll plaza, we are seeing standing water, especially in the far left lane. that's a very common problem whenever we have storms coming in. bay bridge toll plaza, the backup is stretching well into the main and right now looking like about a 15-minute ride. we'll have more on the activity in san francisco coming up in the next traffic report. now let's see how long this system is going to be with us. >>> it arrived early morning hour

this is westbound 80 approaching gilman. there are slowdowns along that stretch there, in the yellow 20 minutes from highway 4 to the main stretch. right now carlson along i-80, taillights moving westbound. look at the rain drops on the bay bridge camera. standing water in the roadways, so look out for that. we have seen a lot of spinouts. and a good reminder, avoid using your cruise control when it's raining. you don't have as much control over the vehicle. 580 at grand lake, had an earlier crash and that's cleared from the lane, still seeing some delays in the area. westbound 580 through the altamont pass, the usual slowdowns. it's raining along that stretch. 26 minutes from 205 to 680. we have a rollover crash on 280 southbound at westboro, traffic backed up but looks like they are in the process of clearing those lanes and things are starting to improve as far as the speeds go. 101 at 380, problem free along this stretch but we are tracking another accident south of here. more on that coming up in a few minutes. now back
