westbound. still early for that to show up. expect that right around 5:00 and more folks hit the roadway and hit pittsburgh. back to you. >> the california public util y utilities commission is demanding pg&e test the lines for leak after an explosion in a san bruno neighborhood. this shows what it was like moments after the blast. the blast locked his house and he looked outside and saw this and could feel the heat of the flames. neighbors returned to 293 of the 377 homes in the suburb. over a 3 1/2 hour period yesterday afternoon. people in the remaining 84 homes have not been allowed to return. those homes were destroyed or have extensive damage or are close to the blast site. here are the latest numbers. the fire destroyed nearly 50 homes and damaged dozens of otherings. they are trying to confirm just how many people died. we know it's at least four. another four are missing. at least 60 are injured and some critically. the explosion blew a pipe up 28 feet long on to the street and created a crater 167 feet long, 26 feet wide. pg&e said a section of that same pipeline 2 1/2 miles north of the explosion site was set to be repaired in

california working again. welcome back to kron 4 morning news major cause box this morning carried bee. we are baco the macarthur maze on 580 westbound is the reason why. a disabled bus on the upper deck dropped its transmission. it took awhile to get the bus off the bridge. it's built fluid as it moved across this band of mostly it dumped transmission fluid inside the tunnel. in the right-hand lane. caltrans is sweeping it out they have the right lane shut down in order to do that. there was a report of an accident near that spill we did see a number of emergency vehicles rushing to that location. we are not sure about the crash. we are sure about the back up. it will get a lot worse before it gets better. don't be surprised if we see a back up around the corner on the seashore freeway as well as into the macarthur maze and affecting westbound 580 and even westbound 24. this could be a back up that stays with us through the morning. as well is interstate 580 in the westbound direction. the left lane has been shut down since 3:00 a.m. when a big rig hit the center divider divider they cleared the big gray but the fuel spill back thin
