westbound phoenix still on the hot side 92 degrees right now. of course you will be seeing more of the triple dig get high temperatures as we head into the afternoon. 103 should be the high this afternoon 90 memphis. upper 70s in chicago. rainfall we are going to get a lot of that across parts of the southeast. flooding will be a concern. keep you posted on that strong storms pushing through parts of northern texas right now. ainsley and heather in the next blog i will be telling you about tropical depression 9 that has just formed in the open atlantic. we have to watch that storm closely. >> hope that brings rain to the northwest. now stories to keep up on airline force pay up for a delayed flight. lauren simonetti is here to explain. >> good morning heather. jetblue was fined 90,000 dollars for the department of transportation for failing to tell passengers they could leave the plane as it sat on the gate for 2 and a half hours. jetblue says customers were free to leave and also given water and access to the bathrooms but did not provide them
