we're getting drier air pushing into western arizona that will spread east, pushing out that moisture. by this afternoon the humidity will be much lower. clear skies and humid 67 phoenix. warming to 75 by 10:00. we won't even hit 80 and tell about lunchtime. we will eventually climbed to 85. that is where the temperature will top out. we will get some breezes through the day today. the strongest wind by this afternoon. today the wind will top out right around 15 miles an hour with gusts near 25 miles an hour. just light breezes in the valley. in northern arizona gusts near 40 miles an hour. we will talk about how long we will keep the 80s in the seven- day forecast. >>> delays are spreading throughout the valley. most areas aren't doing too bad except for the 10 in the west valley. there's a crash at i-10 eastbound at 91st avenue. delays are still about 107th avenue. 107th avenue. you have a break about 83rd 2/75 then up to a 30 minute desert drive time from 75th avenue. the drive time takes you to the mini stack . by the title you will see some relief. extra heavy for drivers on i-10

the rain, though, does continue to fall in some spots, mainly across northern arizona, while the western portions of our state are seeing some of that clearing. those showers and storms mainly in the high country, a few north of i-40, and east of flagstaff, but some spotty showers in spots like flagstaff still. and that thunderstorm northeast of winslow pushing off to the east, so it is moving further away from winslow and also pushing kind of just north of i- 40. holbrook, you've had some rain, another batch heading your way from the south and showers and storms moving northeast of snowflake. meanwhile, much quieter here through central arizona. again, as we clear out those clouds. i have kept a 10% chance of about 6:00. after that this morning, we are going to be drying out across the valley and we're going to end up with mostly clear skies for the rest of the day today. so less cloud cover. temperatures right now sitting at 74 degrees, so as you plan your morning, again, that 10% chance in the forecast just about 6:00. after that we'll clear them out, and those temperatures will stay
