cuba, in the line of fire here. the forecast track is to take it over the western tip of haiti and south eastern cuba over the next 24n, we don't expect it to blow up into a hurricane. the main threat is going to be heavy rain there across western haiti and also across parts of southeastern cuba, both fairly mountainous area. another thing that will do, take say little bit of the punch out of isaac until it gets back into the gulf of mexico or florida straits and heads towards the keys. even south florida, miami still in the cone. getting into the gulf of mexico, the waters are warm, a degree above average for this time of year. we participate more in the strengthening and it does get to hurricane strength status monday night into tuesday morning and potentially making landfall tuesday night or wednesday somewhere along the florida panhandle, along the louisiana coastline, again, tampa still under the gun. they are making preparations against south florida. miami, today is the 20th anniversary of hurricane andrew, devastating that community. they take this stuff very seriously and when wilma hit in '05. they were wit

the storm itself is located on the western tip of cuba. winds still estimated at 60 miles an hour, they may come down lower to 50 or so. the pressure's been rising to near land it has weakened. the trouble is it will head back over water heading somewhere for south florida and the keys. here's the forecast from the national hurricane center. the next major update will come 5:00 p.m. east coast. if you live anywhere in the southeast, you need to pay attention. even the carolinas could be significantly impacted eventually by this storm. the really thing that catches your eye is they bring it up to a category 2 had hurricane. we still have that cone of uncertainty, all the way through the panhandle of florida. doesn't look at this point like we're going to see a direct landfall into tampa for the convention, but at least we'll see strong tropical storm force gusts. the one green line, throw that out. we had a lot of questions if that data into the computer was corrects or not. from the pink line toward the cluster toward the northern portions
