that happen here yesterday is that the protest moved to the chinese liaison ofice in the western part hong kong island kong, which is out of the way. it is a nondescript area. these are not the luxury goods companies. these are the companies that are working in the area. the building itself is nondescript. we saw a group of protesters and a spontaneous attack on the. it is a little bit like an embassy. because it was attacked, it was a direct attack on the sovereignty of china. yvonne: tell us about what beijing could do at this point. are they likely to take any action? there is very little that beijing self can do. imagine if the chinese embassy in london was attacked by protesters. he would get the police in london trying to disperse those protesters. you would not expect beijing to take direct action in london, and it is not -- and it is the same here. beijing can do what it can to put pressure on the local government to make sure that liaison officers -- it is up to the government to get the situation under control. it can probably do that by moving to completely withdraw the extradition bill fro
