maryland. low to mid 70s on the chesapeake bay. now the storm team 4 radar is showing some showers here, west virginia and up into western pennsylvania. the bulk of this is staying well to our west here for the morning hours. but eventually, leading edge of this, now coming into the southern shenandoah valley. that may make its way closer to winchester, perhaps martinsburg and warrenton. even into culpepper over the next few hours. but the greater chance is later this afternoon as temperatures climb. still mid 70s, partly sunny noontime. warm and humid, the mid 80s. not as hot as yesterday by 2:00 or 3:00. then those maybe passing showers and thundershowers coming into the metro area around 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. the sticky humidity with us now. it will only get more uncomfortable to oppressive on wednesday and thursday. the humidity will be increasing. temperatures though will not. we'll be in the upper 80s each afternoon. increasing chance though of an afternoon storm on wednesday. might get a morning shower but a greater chance of midday showers on thursday. and then finally a break from the humidity on friday. partly cloudy, mid 80s.
