extreme drought extended southeastern massachusetts, merrimack valley and central and western mass north of the mass pike here. this is due to above average temperatures this week. we have boston hitting 90? twice in the last week as well as below average rainfall. so this situation just getting covering 52% of the state and cool, clear conditions in the region right now and only bump in the plan is ocean effect clouds that are still focused across eastern most and southeastern massachusetts and wreaking down here late-morning and afternoon. seeing a little bit of that in boston at 58? and does end up clearing out, breezy i should warn you as well and gusts range anywhere 20 to 25 miles per hour and 63?, partly cloudy in boston and noon time 65 and we will get into the upper 60s and not much warmer because of these winds. when we get wind off the water, not rate things and same extreme, so means temperatures will be more moderated at the coastline and 15 to 20 noon time in boston and winds relaxed a little bit and high temperatures and restricted in spots like (vo) one dark stormy night
