yes, it's snowing in western nebraska and eastern colorado, but look at all the showers and thunderstormsugh kansas city and missouri and really there's a lot of storms with this, a lot of warm air with this storm even though it's early february. these are monster storms rolling through kansas city headed across i-70 headed towards st. louis in the next six to seven hours. meanwhile we have the snows back in the rockies. notice it doesn't go much farther than 25 to the west. so it's mainly a foothill snow and a plains snow, but these are unbelievable storms around springfield headed toward 70 and eventually it could go all the way into illinois by tomorrow morning. temps now 43 in bethesda, 45 rockville, 46 downtown, 43 in great falls. so it's just kind of chilly. a touch of winter, it's possible over the weekend. cold and dry tonight. dry most of tomorrow, rain saturday night, maybe mixed changing to snow north and west of town by dawn sunday, and wet snow is possible for us on sunday except for southern maryland. i think you folks will end up with just light rain. how much snow? most of

nebraska still under a blizzard warning. north eastern sections of colorado. western kansas as well as me -- nebraska. mild air coming in front of this storm. it's going to weaken, a warm front is going to form down to our south and that warm air will be riding over the cooler drier air that's going to be around our region tomorrow and tomorrow night. so we'll see clouds on the increase because that warm air is lifted up and creates clouds. look for a little rain. if it gets chilly enough on sunday morning. once that low passes the winds go back to the northwest it can bring in just enough cold air perhaps for a little bit, a few hours of a little wet snow, sleet mixture west of the city. along the pennsylvania border it may be just a dusting. that's what we're looking for in the city. don't expect to see much of anything. because a lot of cool air is filtering in. even though the radar may show it to reach the ground. we'll clear out sunday afternoon. looks pretty nice later in the day. north winds in -t bay, five to 10 -- in the bay, five to 10 knots. a lot of moonlight out there. tomorrow, sunshine
