yesterday we were explaining that high pressure was building in for the western pacific. that's still the same story we have a dry spot right there. and then we have these clouds that have been seeping in from a weak disturbances north of the bay area skimming the see shore. here's the storm track for you. while we have high pressure, it's now diverting that storm track to the north. we actually have an area of low pressure it's going to bounce off the ridge of high pressure and take all the activity well into the pacific northwest and into alaska. so that's a big change for us because this area of low pressure if this was this time last week would make tracks here but the high pressure is a blocking ridge. this will throw clouds into the forecast. we hope the systems will break down the ridge and allows the moisture to seep back in by friday. tuesday into wednesday, in and out of the clouds, some filtered sunshine. a lot of warm air mass still in place but the bottom line is temperatures are slightly above average. the winds are flat. and then there you go all the way to
