wet weather out over the turnpike. all of this shifting off to the east. heavy shower activity from the coconut grove area, key biscayne, virginia keys, some heavier downpours. quick-hitting showers across northeastern broward county, deerfield beach, pompano beach, all that activity moving off to the east. a brief break in the action across central broward, but more showers will be moving in here as we get to the morning commute. the wide perspective, it's a broad swath of moisture. not worry the about flooding rains because these storms are moving quick. only a few rumbles of thunder and a few lightning strikes over the last two, three hours. not a big deal there just nuisance showers that may put the squeeze on the morning drive. about 70 out the door this morning. more clouds, more showers moving 9:00, 10:00. as we dig deeper into the afternoon hours, getting into 2:00, 3:00, sunshine breaking through as the showers begin to end. highs today about 80 degrees. visibility just fine right now in miami. once the showers move in, they'll quickly sweep in across the area. may limit visibility here on the morning drive. 72 opa-lock
